WONDERFUL LIFE

Kim Jae Won and Eugene plays a young couple who have a 5 year old daughter that has leukemia, and depicts the wonderful true relationship between them, bringing out the story of Wonderful Life. They had met in extraordinary circumstances in Singapore while on a vacation there and ends up having a one-night stand and from then on, their lives are bound together as they struggle with raising a baby.

Lee Ji Hoon is their friend and competing for Eugene's love with Kim Jae Won

Han Eun Jung plays Kim Jae Won's former love interest and will continue to be a hindrance to his relationship with Eugene.

After getting married and graduating from university, Kim Jae Won becomes an assistant pilot while Eugene becomes a staff Kids Bear (owned by Lee Ji Hoon's family). Eugene feels that unwed mother and a wife status does not make much of a difference at first but gradually gets used to it. Their child however develops leukeumia and this results in them handling matters in a more mature manner.

Episode 1 - credit to rainy75

eugene and kjw on a plane...
suddenly there's a hijack..
everybody bends down..
i think kjw tells eugene to distract the hijackers and he goes to the cockpit..

then eugene stood up and try to talk to speak to the hijackers on how wonderful life is and why they are doing this.. (ohh.. she's holding a small wingy bear on her hand also...

)

KJW manage to hit the hijacker pilot to conk out ..
then he took over the plane and landed it safely ...

then KJW woke up ... in a plane.. ..day dreaming..

eugene is sitting next to him.. and fell asleep on his shoulders ..
KJW suddenly stands up.. and eugene fell and hit the armrest of the plane seat...

next scene..( i missed this part.. i dont know how.. and why .. it showed them back in korea)

KJW was in his house ... and his dad was trying to strangle him.. something abt him wanting to go singapore... i think finally his bro lend him $$ to go singapore..

eugene was also talking to someone abt singapore...
(sorry.. i dont underst Korean it's quite limited)

KJW and Eugene arrives at the singapore immigration counter..
KJW has his passport cleared.. then followed by eugene.. just after eugene has cleared her passport.. she thought she saw someone familiar and run after tht person...
... she hits right into KJW .. both their stuff dropped...
while saying sorry to kjw, kjw cursing@eugene... they picked up their dropped passport..
Just as Eugene was abt to pick up a watch she drops on the floor, kjw walked off and stepp onto her watch tht is on the flr..without knowing it.. she then screams @ KJW .. who had walked off ..

eugene then walked on to wait for transport.... while waiting, she vented her frustration @ a trolley .. and it hits KJW's leg.. where he happens to stand nearby

thus kjw starts to chase after eugene in the airport.. ...
eugene runs and was abt to board a taxi when she saw KJW came out..
she then hids next to the cab instead of boarding...
KJW then boards the taxi which eugene was hiding... and off the cab goes ...
Eugene then realizes she has left her bag in the cab. .. and chases after the cab..
kjw saw her chasing and ingores her .. even after knowing eugene has left her bag in the cab...

KJW then reaches town and makes a call to HEJ .. wishing her happy birthday.
She is in Singapore... .. KJW did not let HEJ knows he is in singapore...
(... HEJ doesnt seem to be very enthustic over KJW calling to wish her happy birthday...) HEJ was expecting someone to call ... ( Lee Ji Hoon...)

Eugene then went to the police station (orchard police station) to make a report.... when the police asks her for identification, she realizes she has taken the wrong passport.. and it's KJW she is holding. Inside KJW passport, has a addy tht shows a SIngapore addy... thus she tries to make her way there...
i think she has no $$ so she tries to hitch a ride ..

She then reaches .... and LJH happens to arrive at the same time to pick HEJ up.. to celebrate her bd..
( hmm i did not see how she reach her destination... i missed it...)
EUgene was exhausted and upon reaching the apartment, the lift is out of order and she has to climb the stairs... starts to ~!!@# aagain...

When she reached HEJ apartment, she explained her situation.. and thus HEJ knows KJW is in singapore.. but HEJ still went out with LJH.. leaving eugene in the apartment to rest...
Eugene is sleeping... suddenly a spiderman appears outside her window... the spiderman says happy birthday...
(... i think KJW later tells her to open the window.. not knowing it was eugene and thinking it was HEJ)
staying too long, police car came ... and has him arrested to the police station (orchard police station again..

.. the same one eugene reported her passort missing...

) ..
there he tries to explain his situtation... the police asked him for his identification.. he gave him his passport... when the police opened it, the policeman asked him again if tht is his passport ... KJW replied w/o looking at it .. looking downwards.. saying yes.... the policeman then showed to his colleague ... which again asked KJW the same question this time flashing back the passprt at KJW...
KJW was shocked to see eugene's passport instead of his ..

while KJW was @ the police station, the police had calls up HEJ apartment... eugene arrives @ the police station..explaining HEJ is not in.. and she's there to help HEJ..
KJW sees her .. and embrassed... tries to hide in his spidery mask..

eugene then pulls the mask out forcefully and sees him...

ALong the Boat Quay, KJW and KJW is seen squabbling over some stuff..(dont kow what they talking..) and lots of ppl stares at KJW who is still in his spidey suit...
eugene then exchnages their passport back....

(hmm... then i cant remember... exactly... what happened but )
they then end up going ard visiting Singapore tourist sites at the suggestion of eugene...

AT the esplanade (where most in-door performance in Singapore are held), while listening to the free open-air performance.., eugene spotted HEJ with LJH together walking .. knowing kjw will feel hurt if he sees it, she succeffully distracts his attention away from them...
then ... they went on the reverse bunjee jump@ Clark Quay, eat Satay... then they heads for Sentosa on the cable car... while on the cable car... eugene mentions something abt the sea ... while staring striaght out ahead of her...
( i think she's later afraid ... cuz she bends down and refuse to look up throughout the whole journey....)
KJW looking out,.... sees the opp cable car coming and saw HEJ/LJH in tht car... his expression immediately changes to a sad one...
eugene keep asking KJW how long more .. noticing kjw did not reply her.. she looks up ... and follows KJW glance to the cable car tht past by ... and she sees them too...

they sitting side by side along the beach @ Sentosa... ( dont know what they were talking..... )

(the following scenes ..i dont rmember much.. also the sequence it came by... sorry!)

HEJ/LJH were at some place where ppl were playing some chinese classical instrument... LJH then took out his present for HEJ .. HEJ doesnt look happy with the present she reciieves... and some thoughts ran across her head( some korean words being spoken as her thoughts...) .. it goes the same for LJH ...
they then heads off to club... and shows HEJ dancing... LJH sitting down..

KJW/eugene sitting near the swimming pool drinking ... ( not sure if it's the same apartment where HEJ was staying....)
kjw then hands eugene a phone and number to call to ask for a room ...
after the call, kjw was chasiing eugene and fell into the pool ...
...
in the room, kjw was bathing in the bathroom when eugene rushed in to use the toilet... kjw was shocked and he ran out of the bathroom ....
while waiting for eugene, he starts to drink beer again and feel asleep on the sofa ...
eugene came out of the bathroom.... and heads straight for bed ...

HEJ returns to her apartment... and saw the note left by KJW... tears it away...

while Eugene/KJW were sleeping... some ray of light shine on them... ( some stuff were said... dont understa... ) ...
the next thing is morning... kjw legs moves and hit something.....
eugene also hits something behind her... both turns back and realizes they are on the same bed ... gets up and screams when they both found out they are not dressed ........

it begins with her getting very nauseous.
She thinks to herself: it cant be. no way. it cant be!

Seung Won's brother and sister in law are sitting down. they think for sure its a pregnancy.
Eugene freaks out and goes down to the computer lab. types in 'symptoms of pregnancy'.
-nausea.
-hunger.
-sensitivity.

lee jihoon's mom comes and visits him. tension. he calls hej. he feels like crap. he can hear her bf's voice.

eugene goes to the pharmacist in a red wig. wants to ask for a pregnancy tester, but cant because lee jihoon comes in. even after he leaves, she has a hard time asking for it.

lee jihoon recognizes her, but she cant reveal her identity b/c she's ashamed of the preg tester. she trips, and he grabs her pregnancy tester for her. and he persists that she is, and she finally gives in.

kjw and hej just finished watching their movie. she says shes sick and wants to leave early.
as she leaves she calls lee jihoon and says shes coming to his place.

eug sprained her ankle when she tripped but wont go to the doctor afraid the doc's going to confrim her pregnancy. lee jihoon gives her a piggy back ride b/c shes hurt and hej sees them. lee jihoon tells eug to not dress like this. he says she was cuter in singapore, like a baby chick.

hej recognizes eug and is now even more pissed but gives her a ride home at lee jihoon's request.

eug asks hej which boy she likes more. hej asks why she cares. eug says she wants to kjw as her husband and then hej pushes her to the floor.

later eug thinks back of kjw being mean to her for being mean to hej (episode 2). kjw is thinking the same thing. they both want to call each other... but hej calls kjw just as he was calling eug.

she calls him out and asks him if he still likes her and refreshes his memory of his devotion to only her.

eug tries the tester and one of hte lines come out blurry... so she cant really tell if its really a baby or not.

eug asks her sister about the tester.. saying it was wat her paper was on. her sister says of course you should go to the doctor, wat a dumb paper.

later the sister thinks... and puts the pieces together. eug is carrying kjws baby.

the sister goes to his school and looks for him. kjws friend and teh sister meet eyes... they fall for each other.

while waiting for his frend, kjw sees this big blue tank thing. dunno wat it is. all excited he runs to it, but then sees lee jihoon. kjw is disrespectful. lee jihoon knows kjw saw him in singapore and says, lets get along b/c i like you. kjw says hes not interested in men especially not men who think of dating as shopping. [which is actually wat hej said to lee jihoon.] lee jihoon laughs... and says he thinks of dating as cup ramens. easily conjured. easily thrown away. disposables. and tells kjw he doesnt want her anymore. that he can keep hej. kjw gets pissed that lee jihoon would talk that way bout his gf. lee jihoon warns him taht hej isnt the kind of girl he thinks she is.. and taht he cant handle her, to look for someone that better suits him.

later kjw and hej meet and he tells her. hej says eugene is a hussy. he stands up for her.

later. eug is at the hospital getting a sonogram. 9 weeks. the doctor says: please bring the baby's father. delivering a baby is a difficult thing not meant to be done alone.

she worries... wat does she say to kjw? lets marry? love me? she goes to school looking for him.

lee jihoon sees her waiting for him. and says he'll help her look for him. but she says no! no!!! she never wants to look for someone with someone she doesnt know well ever again.

they see kjw + hej.

kjw asks wat shes doing here, and she says she wasnt looking for him, but lee jihoon. he grabs her shoulders and leads her away. [mu shee ssuh.

lee jihoon asks her if she likes kjw. she says no.

as kjw is practicing, he keeps thinking of eugene and cant get her out of his mind.

eug is sick. at work, she keeps coughing and kjw cooks soft rice for her and asks about her relationship with lee jihoon. with a bit of hope in her eyes, she asks if he's jealous. of course, he says no... and says she shouldnt see him as his frnd.. and how he hates lee jihoon b/c he played hej. she asks him to spend some time with her tomo.

she drags him to an amusement park. trying to soften him up for the big new. he doesnt like roller coasters.

later that nite, he realizes its white day. [korean valentines day]. he runs into a candy store and asks eug which candies are pretty. she smiles...
and then he hopes aloud, his gf will like them.
eug is dissapointed.

later. they sit down and eat...
she says shes catholic. and he gets all cranky saying hes busy. and that he needs to drop the candy off at hej's house before 12 so he gives it to her for white day.

eug sees how much he loves her.
she tells him to just go to hej.. and ends up not telling him anything.
saying, i thought it was our problem.. but now that i think about it.. its just my problem.

later as he walks away.. he thinks maybe she liked him.

at night she goes to the priest. and cries. "i have to make a big decision, but no on will help me. will you help me, father. i wanted to ask God wat to do.. but i already know his answer. and alone... im too scared to make a decision. i had dreams once. i wanted a career. find love. marry the man i love. have his baby. but everythings out of order. im scared. i dont konw wat to do. i have no one to go to. someone please help me. you're like my dad. just today, will you please discipline me. will you please worry about me. be concerned about me. just today." and keeps crying. [this scene made me cry]

kjw worries abot eug liking him. loving her as a frnd.

his brothers family is not pregnant.

eug tells her mother shes goin to australia to study abroad for free as they are playing hwato. [korean card game.]

kjw goes to visis eug's house.. worried bout her as a frnd. the sister slams the door in his face angrily saying shes leaving to study abroad.

he runs into her in the street. and says not to leave just b/c of him thinking its b/c of her crush on him. she laughs.. and says dont worry about it. and says... yah. we're just frnds.

she gives him a book called, "the things you've taught me." as a goodbye present.

one year later.

kjw and hej are buying clothes to go to his dad's 50th bday party.

later the sister comes in carrying kjw's baby and says that the mother died and now he must raise the girl.
han shinbi.

the sister introduces the baby as kjw's daughter. concieved with eug.
he says its not his baby. upset why nobody believes him. but why would she lie?

kjw laughs. they met in singapore in january. and she had the baby in october. but the sister said it was snowing... it doesnt snow in october.

his father beats him. "so nothing happend with that girl in singapore?"
"something did happen but..."

hej is pissed and walks out. he cant explain. and she dumps him there.

hej calls lee jihoon and tells him everything that happened so far. he thinks shes brave for not erasing the baby.

kjw goes to the hospital for a blood test.
positive.

he goes to his frnd's restaurant and cries while drinking. saying, eug died having my baby. how is he going to raise a baby by himself??? and apologizes to eugene in heaven. reassuring her that he'll raise the baby well. he says he'll visit her on a plane sometime.

eug opens her phone and says. i miss you so much! and kisses her baby's picture. she goes to visit the priest.

the mom is visted by a man sent by kjw's dad. he brings her a huge plant saying he is sorry to hear about eug's death adn that they'll raiset he baby well.
she thinks eug is in australia studying.
her world crashes to the floor.

eug runs out of her home, realizing the baby's gone. and runs into her mom. she explains everything. and her sister explains taht she gave shinbi over to kjw's family. the sister says that kjw's family would raise shinbi better. with love. and that eug could start her life over again.
eug: "WE DONT HAVE LOVE TO GIVE HER/??"

pissed the three: mom, eug. and her sister rush over to kjw's house.

he stares at the intercom... eug came back from the dead. the whole famly freaks out.

the two familys go to a chinese restaurant. and the sister explains what happened. both disagree though.

kjw says eugene seduced him heavily and his fault was not being able to resist.

eug says he basically raped her.

they both fight. and the dad kicks both of them out.

outside they continue arguing.
kjw: who says you could have the baby without my permission? this is a crime.
eug: why do i have to ask anyones permission to have my baby!?
kjw: im not just an anyone. im the baby's father.
eug: so! you ran away that day. afriad to take responsibilty.
kjw: i didnt run away! and i already apologized for singapore. but this!? you should have told me you were pregnant when you found out. how can you do this to me? appear out of no where with a baby and stab me int he back.
eug: wat? stab you in the back?
kjw: look. you made me look stupid in front of my family. and! ive lost hte love of my life b/c of you now.

kjw: how are you going to raise her?
eug: ill go to school and... i guess thatll be hard. well ill work and... then who'll wtch her?
kjw: how can you have a baby without any plans?
eug: dont worry about me. ill take care of my life and my dauther's life. thank you.

inside. the dad wants the baby and says shinbi belongs to them as she is of their bloodline. and doesnt want eugene to be bogged down with the baby.
eug's mom is gettin pissed. who said the baby was bogging her down?
kjw's dad had planned to put the baby under kjw's older brother's name. that couple is surprised and walks out sadly.

eug's mom wants to take the baby back. but kjw's dad refuses.

outside.
eug: i told you, im going to raise my baby. stop making me repeat myself. dont wry about it.
kjw: my dad wotn allow that. he's going to put the baby under my brother's name.
eug: why is my baby going to your brothers??? this is none of their business.
kjw: hes my brother.
eug: she's not really your responsibility.
kjw: you didnt give me a chance to even know about it. you just had the baby on your own.
eug: and if i had told you the truth? would you have let me have the baby? you would have told me to have an abortion, right?? that's exactly why i have to raise shinbi. and... now without shinbi, I'LL DIE!

inside.
the mom argues that a mom cant live without her baby. and that they must raise shinbi. saying eug cant go on without shinbi.
kjw's dad says shinbi is a han [kjw's last name in teh drama]. and of their bloodline.
roling up her sleeve, she shows her veins saying they have bloodlines too. and that she is legally a jung. [eug's last name in the drama].
the dad will not give in.
the mom will not give in.
what to do?
have them both raise the baby!
they MUST get married!!

they both fall in.
MARRIAGE?
NEVER!!!!!!!!

both parents.
GET MARRIED YOU TWO.

kjw is hecka pissed and is drinking again w/his frnd. saying how unfair it is that his ilfe is now over b/c of one mistake. wat about my lfie? whine. whine.
the frnd is funny. "who do you think you are, a farmer? spreading your seed all over the place."

eug is pissed that her sister made this whole mess saying she was going to raise shinbi well w/out kjw.
the sister says its wrong to hide it from the dad. and also wat about eug's young life?

lee jihoon is driving and brakes b/c drunk eug and her sister walk through the street.
eug recognizes ljh. ohh.. singapore!
her sister freaks out. SINGAPORE?? another man from singapore!? wta did you do over there!?

he is relieved she is not dead but well. asks her if she is ok.
and she says she is not. her heart is heavily hurt.
ljh: wats wrong?
eug: im gettin married.. if you have tiem stop by.
ljh: and take your place?
eug: take my hand and run away with me.
the look on ljh's face...

she asks if she's seen the mask of zorro or runaway bride.
ljh: kinda.. but its fuzzy.
eug: i sent you a card.
ljh: if theres anything wrong, just call.
and the sister takes it iwth her nasty grin.

kjw goes to hej's house. and stares at her window sadly.

hej hte flirt asks ljh over to fix her computer.
he tell her kjw's getting married.

drunk eug. walks into her mom and walks with her a bit.
mom: do you want to get married?
eug: mom... u talk first. ill base my decision on yours.
mom. of course not.i want to give shinbi to them. and have you live a normal happy life again. those ppl are nice ppl and well off. and they love shinbi so much. its better than an orphanage... and shinbi will be grwoing in a good family. and then my smart daughter wont have to give up her education. thats y i decided that.
eug: im sorry. im so sorry.
mom. you. you. you pretended to be so smart. even marriages taht start out head over heels in love, get messed up eventually. why? thers nothing wrong with you! y do u have to get married in this way?

kjw is waiting outside hej's house.
they flirt. and she says how thankful she is to ljh.
kjw keeps calling her name. but is ignored.

ljh: so you're getting married? doesnt that mean you should stop coming here?
kjw: who says im gettin married?
lhj: no? the other party says differently.
kjw mumbles. he visits this side and that side. speaking directly to kjw. you cant live with just one girl? too boring?
ljh: you're not one to point fingers. neither you or i arent very diff from han cheyun. [hej]. dont make her cry[referring to eug]. even if it means i have to cry by myself, i dont make a girl cry.

kjw is at home begging his dad. saying he cant marry. hes only 23!! he has a whole life in front of him. wat about him?
dad: did i tell you to go and bring a baby home?
kjw: that was a mistake. a one time thing. if i get married, itll be a life long mistake!
dad. shutup. i cant see my granddaughter raise in a tiny bedroom. no. i cant.
kjw. begs as he holds unto his dad's leg.
haha.
everyone leaves he is left alone with shinbi.
he is freaking out alone with her. and picks her up so they are face to face.
kjw: stop smiling. you'll grow on me.
shinbi: WAHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
kjw: ok. im sorry. this daddy is sorry. please stop crying!!

later he takes her to class.
[shinbi is SOOOOOOOO cute!]

all his frnds make fun of him. askign who the baby is.
kjw: no. shes my niece.
ugly classmate. wow shes so cute. thought she was too cute to be your baby. y'd u bring her?
kjw. oh.. something came up at home.
classmate. wat is this smell??/ who farted?
kjw slips his hand near her diaper.. crap.

his frnd runs into his class with the diaper bag: hey. you left your daughter's diaper bag. your sisterinlaw said to give this to you.
kjw: do you want to die???
frnd: sorry... thought everyone already knw.
kjw: its fine. she is my daughter so wat can i do?
frnd. here. and read these instructions.
kjw reads the last line: burp? kids dont burp.
frnd. still. she wrote it for a reason.
kjw practices burping for his daughter. follow after me.

he realized throughout hte day how hard it'll be to raise the baby.
the bathroom scene was funny. haha.

later he goes to some small store and asks the lady there wat burp means. and she explains to him how to burp a baby.

HES SUCH A CUTE DAD!! FREAKIN GONNA .....

later. he meets eug.
as soon as he hands the baby over eug notices how heavy the diaper is: you didnt change her diaper, huh!? she'll catch a cold! get me a diaper.

kjw: lets get married.
eug: wat??
kjw: lets get married. lets get married. LETS GET MARRIED RITE NOW!!!

it begins with her stalking away from him.
they argue because they'll be married, but not legally. the baby will go under his name, but she will raise shinbi.
so i guess she wont really have a right to shinbi??

wat exactly is the diff b/w 호닌싱고 & 결혼?
kinda confused too.. but ill try.

which is unfair for her. he says its because they both have lives ahead of them and shouldnt have to be bogged down by being legally bound to one another.
but for her, the baby is pretty much his, and she just raises her.
also. with his plan, his parents would have the right to see the baby whenever they wanted and as much as they wanted.

eugene: am i not good enough that i dont get a real marriage??
kjw: hey. its fair because you get to raise the baby but the baby goes under my name. we're both doing wat we want.
eugene: how is that fair??? she becomes rightfully yours while i just raise her. how is that a marriage?
kjw: so?? this way we'll both have clean slates. hey, im letting you put her under my name. [or... letting you borrow my last name]
eugene: letting me? shes YOUR daughter!!
kjw: exactly. she goes under my name and i marry you.
eug:hey! i have a last name too that she can go under!

kjw thinks he was doing her a big favor by even offering to marry her...

eug thinks he should be thankful he even has the oppurtunity to have such a beautiful wife and child.

at home, kjw gets kicked out because he gave away shinbi. he says he cant live wihout chaeyoung [hej. the gf.] and eug cant live without shinbi, so wat is there to do? his dad is pissed that he cant even take responsiblity of his own child.

at eugene's, the baby keeps crying and wont sleep which disturbs the residents who pay to live there. most of them are students and complain that they cant study due to the baby's cries.
she tries to quiet the baby unsuccessfully and leaves the house.
eug finally gets mad at shinbi to sleep saying that mommy's tired.
eug: shinbi, mommy wants to go back to college and start studying again one day.. but if you keep doing this, i cant do anything. do you want me to become stupid. please sleep... please sleep my baby.
all the while, kjw is looking on with a worried face.

walking around, he cant help but be faced with the decision, to either choose what he thinks is love and his own life [gf] or to be responsible for his actions [shinbi].

eug goes to visit kjw's dad at his construction company.
he called her.
he compliments her on how well she eats and she says: father, eat alot as well.
he pauses, father??
worried, she offended him, she apologizes saying that father in law seemed a little difficlut for her to say and he reassures her that it is fine and that he wanted a daughter of his own.
he lets her know that kjw's been missing and asks her if she's seen him.

eug: i cant live i cant live b/c of you!! if you were'nt the father of our baby...
and the coke can she kicks in anger hits ljh on hte head. ARE YOU OK?
ljh: owwwwwwwwwww.
he says he needs to go get a CT skan... cus of hte can that hit him on the head. and she realizes he was only joking.

they go visit hej's school and the girls she was walking with cant stop complimenting ljh and his good looks.

eug came to ask if hej knew where he was and says hej didnt have to be so cold to kjw, esp after all these years.
hej defends herself asking eug how she would feel if her bf came to her with another womans' baby.
eug: nm. so i guess you dont know where he is either...
hej: can i give you a piece of advise. its b/c of girls like you that women in general get scorned at. if you're going to have a love affair, keep it clean. wat kind of young girl makes such a mess out of thigns?
ljh: han che young!
hej to ljh: wat are you doing?
ljh is stopped by hej from going after eug: if i knew you were going to be like this, i woundt have brought her to you.
hej: STOP! STOP RIGHT NOW!

ljh asks eug wat shes gonna do now. and she says shes just going to go look for kjw. he says they need structure or a plan to follow so they dont waste time looking for him. she smiles to herself because it sounds just like what she once said to kjw in singapore when he was looking for hej.

kjw comes to hej's school where the rest of them are and face them.
hej: seungwon. i told you not to come to my school anymore.
kjw drags eug to his side: im marrying her. i came here to tell you that. be.. happy, please. and sunbennim [talking to ljh], from now own, dontt meet my wife from now on.

outside, pissed eug throws off his arm saying hes going to ruin her future marriage plans with his talk of their marrying.
he laughs and says, wat could be worse than a baby for your future marriage.
she says thats talk of the dark ages.
kjw: well, isnt it better that the baby's father take care of her than someone else?
eug: so? you still dont want to legally be married to me, but want me to raise her, and want your parents have legal guardianship of her!
kjw: no. lets REALLY get married, legal and all. but! theres a deal to this.

at a cafe, he shows her the marriage contract.
1. after five years, when the child has a mind of her own, we split.
2.we'll let the baby decide who she wants to live with. [wat a horrid thing to do to a chid....]
3. we dotn interfere in each other's personal life.
4. but we have to equally share all the household responsibilites.
5. we will be respectful to each other's parents.
6. kjw: hey... this whole thing'll get a bit hard if thers another kid...
eug: excuse me? as long as your careful, thats not a problem at all.
kjw: dont worry. ill never look at you as a woman.
so! we will definitly be using seperate rooms.
7. and this will always be a secret to the adults.

kjw tells his family they are going to get married.

kjw's family women go to meet eug's family women. both mothers do their best to cut each other down saying, its not like hes an ideal son in law. and this is nothing to brag about, a wedding where an unmarried girl already had a baby.
they argue and cut each other down until both families say that they are going to marry them off with just a blanket and a bowl of water for a wedding ceremony....

kjw flips out. saying that this is ridiculous. he wants a wedding, a 3 bedroom apt, a car, full 4 year tuition for both of them, money to raise the baby, and double his allowance now!

the mothers meet again and kjw's mom wrote a ginormous list of all the things she wants eug's family to bring in her dowry.
eug's mom: if we buy all these thigns... there will be no room for them to live in.
kjw's mom: is it more than you can afford?
eug's mom: no! we can do it.

eug is pissed off at the list, knowing that they cant afford all this but her mom knows if she doesnt have a large dowry, kjw's family will scorn her forever.

instead, eug asks her mom for hte money, saying that they'll just buy watever they need with the money.

eug and kjw go over the list together and she begins to cross off all these unnecessary things like an LCD large flathead tv and a dishwasher and especially his request of a large diamond ring. hahaha.

kjw says screw the list! and lets just shop!!

they go to the mall to look at things and the first thing she goes for is the washing machine, but he drags her away begging her to buy videogame player. i think ps2... saying that they can buy tiny home appliances and spend money on things they want. kjw tries to win her over saying that his mom wont care wat kind of stuff they buy. and that her dowry isnt even important to his mom, as she isnt in the least bit superficial.

ljh wakls through his campus and all over the place are posters of kjw's oncoming wedding and a picture of him, eug, and shinbi. embarrased, he chases down his frnd, who is behind all the posters.

hej gets the wedding card. and inside kjw had written: im sorry. i loved you.

ljh goes over to his frnd's house b/c theres a woman working there. prbably his mom's unwanted doing. he decides to move in with his frnd and sell his own house. his frnd invites him to kjw's bachelor party thing.

thye do this whole traditionl korean wedding party thing which is hwere eug's sister tries to pay them to come inside and stuff. kind of like a bachelor party... krn style.

kjw's frinds all clap and shout for eug to sing so she gets up. kjw notices that ljh stares at eug.

later, eug goes over to her mom and says shes sorry that made all this work for her. she wonders if she'll be able raise shinbi as well as her mom raised her.
mom: why would you only raise her as well as i raised you? you had better raise her better than that! raise your daughter well.
eug: mom~
the mom takes her inside her room, and gives a large sum of money. the only money her dad left behind when he died. the mom insists she take it, saying that eug needed something to rely on, even if she was married. the mom knows that kjw is a bit immature for a husband and worries for her daughter.

outside, a very drunk kjw expresses his doubts of marrying. and wonders if hes doing the right thing. mumbling, he asks someone to stop him.

ljh goes outside and sees eug.
eug: are u leaving?
ljh: yeah.
eug: thank you for coming down here.
ljh: do you still need my help?
eug: excuse me?
ljh: remeber, you asked me to take your hand and run away.
eug: oh...
ljh: hey, its still not too late. if you need anything, just sos me and ill be there for you. but you know once you get married, i cant help you, right? that you have to live well by keeping your family, right? well, you've had the courage to raise shinbi well so far, so im sure you'll do well.
eug: thank you.
ljh: then i'll go...
eug: drive home safely.
ljh: you look very good in that dress..

kjw is all drunk and jealous~~~

eug: you scared me!
kjw: wat are yo doing? ur not even married yet and you're meeting other men already?
eug: i thought we werent' going to mess with each other's personal lives.
kjw looks all eh about that line...
eug: why? do you want to change it back so that we can interfere in each other's personal lives?
kjw: no... eesh~

the wedding finally takes place.
facing each other, they mutter at ech other to at least force a smile.

hej cries in ljh's car as they drive home.
hej: you know.. i thought i wouldnt feel so betrayed to him. but, seeing him next to someone today, i felt so betrayed. i dont know y.
ljh: just wish them happiness.
hej: if they live happily, i think ill be miserable...

at the airport the newlywed couple argue.
eug argues that he doesnt respect her mom or her family. how he didnt smile when he was taking pictures with them, nor did he compliment her mom at least out of courtesy. also, he tried to avoid her.
kjw says he didnt. and apologized half heartedly.
eug is even more pissed at such an empty apology.
kjw: wat a huge mess this is, y'd i get into a marriage without love?
eug: a huge mess!?
pissed, they split, saying that they cant go on their honeymoon with each other, yelling that they cant stay married to each other any longer.

eug's mom brags to her frnds about how well her daughter married off, saying how when she goes over later to clean it, it'll take days cus its so big.

the newlyweds walk around and find they have nowehre to go.

they both go to their new home and fight to get in first, i guess trying to lock the other person out.

kjw's brother's family is trying to get it on... but the mother in law interrups saying, they should go over and help re arrang the furniture.

both of their parents come and see that the lights are on, and both think that its a theif or soemthing.

both get in, and kjw licks his lips as eug cooks herself the oen ramen she boought on the way. he ordered chinese though.

the doorbell rings.. happily, he runs over thinking its his dinner, but its both of their parents.

inside the closet, the newlyweds can hear the moms outside speaking.

kjw's mom is blatantly rude and patronizes eug's mother for not picking out their appliances herself and how eug didnt even buy anything worth stealing if a burglar had actually come. eug's mom has been busy working and said she trusted eug.
kjw's mom says that eug didnt really know wat she was doing, and anyways, they were too poor to afford much better.
this upsets eug's mom greatly.
kjw's mom tells her how kjw came to her begging her to not make the dowry and home stuff a big deal because they couldnt afford much. but still, how eug's family had really done too little.
eug's mom apologizes that she didnt pay more attnt to everything.
inside the closet, eug's heart breaks.

eug: wat?? your mom doesnt care about the dowry and stuff??
kjw: u see...
eug: how can you put my mom through all that?
kjw: it wasnt too big a deal.. i mean adults can have different opinions on stuff...
eug: wat? different opinions?? my mom was getting in trouble and apologizing! how is that merely a matter of different opinions? you said your mom didnt care just about money and stuff.. but look at how she ridiculed our family for not bringing alot.
kjw mutters to himself about how his mother overreacted.
eug: its you and i that made a mistake, but y is it that my mom is getting blamed and being yelled at. I DONT WANT TO LIVE WITH YOU!
kjw: wat?
eug half sobbing now: do you want me to repeat myself?
kjw: no...

eug goes inside her room to sob.

frustrated kjw kicks the boxes and when he does, the book eug gave him before she left falls, and so does the paper airplane.
inside it, it says: i would like you to remember this name, han shinbi.

she soon calls her mom, reasurring her that they arrived at their honeymoon safely and that shes too happy. she tells her mom that kjw was a better husband than she had given him credit for, and that hes really good to her.
eug: mom. are you glad that im happy? but wat should i do? i just keep thinking of you.
covering the phone piece, eug sobs as kjw looks on with a million dollar expression of regret and hurting for eug.

in the morning, he cooks her breakfast, a meal he had learned while working at that restaurant wit her.

kjw: im sorry. im really sorry about last night. im earnestly apologizing right now. after we eat, lets go visit motherinlaw [eug's mom] cus i have a gift i think she'd like. we'll go over there and tell her wat really happened, and then i'll apologize for last night. come on, sit down. i hope you like it.
eug: ... im sorry i got mad at you last night.
kjw: psh. sit down and eat.

later, hej goes over to ljh's and sees that he's moving. she had sacked a lunch for a picnic as a friend and is a bit sad that he didnt tell her he was moving.

ljh shows her his new house, and as they stand there admiring it, eug and kjw come squibbling out.

the four of them are face to face again.

kjw: che..cheyoung. [hej]

Episode 6 - credit to *sandee

ok so the newlyweds come squibbling out and come face to face with ljh and hej who came to look at ljh's new house.
the frind comes out and says he did it on purpose. "SURPRISE!!!" and seeing as how he doesnt really know the relationships, he giggles about their 'first night' although not technically, seeing as how they had shinbi and all...
but wat about their honeymoon??? its not time for them to be back already...

the five of them go back to the new couple's house, and the jokes continue, but kjw tries to make it look less intimate infront of hej saying as how they are really just frnds, not really a couple, but eug kicks him painfully before he can really conitnue.
the frnd gets a call from 'flower deer' [eug's sister. hahahaha.] and leaves.

hej: earlier, the two of you looked good together. do you like being married?
eug, cuts him off before he can ssay much: yeah, we love it. we're reallybusy too, having to visit our relatives, right honey?
kjw, rudely: wats wrong with you?
ljh offers his hand to kjw, his new neighbor: lets be frnds...
kjw leaves him hanging, saying how his stomach hurts.
ljh: i thought hed change after he married.. but no.
hej breaks the awkward silence by saying they should leave to help him finish his own packing.

as ljh and hej walk off, ljh defines their relationship as only frnds, although hej seems to want to keep flirting.
hej: can i come over?
ljh: if i say no, will you stop coming?
hej: nope. ill keep coming.
ljh: i guess its ok, as long as ur not doing it to show off to someone.
hej: wat are u talkinga bout?
jlh: well~ think about it.

insisde eug cleans the blanket harshly infront of kjw out of frustration and jealousy b/c of hte way he acted infrotn of hej, and saying that their relationship is merely like frnds.

the two fo them are all drssd up to stop by kjw's family's house to get shinbi.
eug's family is preparing all this food for eug's new husband, han subang. they even closed the restaurant for a day to prepare food for the new couple.
in krn tradition, you have to stop by the girl's family first and spend the night there. very disrespectful to not do so.. and they prepare adn gossip while waiting for eug and her new husband.

at kjw's house, they make such a big deal that eug/kjw has a baby that his brother's family is hurt at their insensititvy, as how they cant have a baby.

they get tied down at kjw's family b/c shinbi has a slight fever. and at the prodding of his parents, kjw offers to stay at his parents house, resulting in eug being upset once more.
eug: han seunwon, wats wrong with you? shouldnt we go down to my family today?
kjw: so? wat am i supposed to do? she has a fever?
eug: still! my mom is waiting all prepared for us!!
kjw: wat if shinbi gets sick?
eug: this is too much.
kjw: no. and come on, my parents just want to spend some time with shinbi~

later, eug is int he bathroom and calls her mom, telling her that shinbi hsa a fever. that shinbi shouldnt really go out much.. and that they wont be able to come down. although the mother had been waiting for them all day, she reassures eug that she was too busy all day to even worry about their coming. and that eug is now a part of kjw's family, not the mom's. the mom tells her to be patient and be good to hansubang , that'll itll reslut int he happiness of their family.

later kjw, eug, and shinbi lay down to sleep. kjw reasurres her that they'll surely go visit her mom tomorrow.
as eug kisses shinbi, kjw asks eug if she really likes shinbi that much? and that she must like him that much too, seeing as how shinbi looks just like him.
kjw worries about shinbi's future and says that he'll be hella pissed if shinbi grows up and brings home a guy like himself which makes eug smile.

kjw's dad peeks in and kjw jumps next to eug. kjw's mom drags the dad out, and kjw begings to get comfortable next to eug and on her pillow, but she kicks him away, telling him to go sleep on his side.

the next morning the newlyweds find out that raising the baby wont turn out like they planned. kjw had thought that they would just take the baby during the weekends, and that the mom would watch shinbi pretty much during the weekdays. but she argues saying that she has a life too. and that after all the money she's giving htem, they should be able to raise shinbi on their own. eug didnt know that their family was paying for all their tuition. they settle that the mom will watch shinbi on the weekends.

eug knows that she'll end up watching the baby most of the time. on top of studies and all. even after they go home, they argue b/c kjw wants her to watch the baby and do her school work.
eug: do u think raising a baby is that easy?
kjw: no one said it was easy, but still. other ppl hve 2/3 kids.
eug: shall i give you more kids???
kjw: hey. come one, everyone raises kids. stop making such a big deal of it.
eug: fine. you raise her all by yourself tonight. u'll see for yourself how hard it is to be a student parent~
kjw: so who told you to have a baby?
immediately sorry.. he looks away.
eug: dont every say things like that infront of our baby.
fine, she says and sets up a tent outside to study.

inside, kjw tries to put the bagy to sleep as well as do his hw.

the prankster that he is, kjw slips outside in revenge, to hwere eug is inside the tent, and locks her inside with a pin from outside.

she says fine!!!.. until she has to go to the bathroom really bad. ljh comes to save her but she thinks its kjw and slaps him immediatey. after apologizing, she runs into ljh's bathroom.

although she tries to sneak away from ljh out of embarrasment, he sees her. and she thanks him. also, she notices the groceries on his table, and helps him organize them, saying that leaving them out like that will cause them to go dry or rot. she tells him to eat more veggies. and that keeping the frig orgznized will be more helpful. ljh is surprised at how well she works in the kitchen.

back at the new couple's home, the baby cries and cries. the new dad doesnt know wat to do. he has a paper due tomorrow. and while trying to calm her, he warns her that all boys are bad too..

kjw finally goes outside to let eug out, but notices that shes not even in there. he sees eug come out of ljh's house and hides behind the tent. kjw gets a call from his bro, he received a notice from the govt for the army, and his brother picked it up before his parents did. the brother tells him to tell his wife... kjw tells his bro not to tell anyone.

eug: whered u go?
kjw: just out with shinbi...
eug: dont go ot with shinbi too much.
kjw: im sorry...
eug: why?
kjw: just. im just sorry.

in the morning, the baby cires and both kick each other to take care of hte baby. after eug steps on kjw, she looks back. sorry.. did i not hurt you? ^^

the next scenes are of a college couple struggling to raise a baby together, taking her to classes and stuff.

on another morning, they both find that they are busy in teh afternoon. eug has a test. and kjw has to go to the clinic for a govt army test thing. eug doesnt konw that cus kjw just says he has something imp to do.. eug tries to call everyone she knows, but no luck. so she goes to his school saying, "shinbi abba."
his frnds make fun of him. she drops shinbi off with kjw. kjw tries to get his frnd to watch the baby as well, but his frnd says no..
and so kjw says: fine. ill just drop shinbi off with the supermarket lady. eug's sister who was on a date with kjw's frnd, overhears. and pissed off, she goes to the supermarket to pick up the baby, saying that kjw shouldnt just leave shinbi wiht anybody like that.

over at the clinic, kjw meets a frnd and the frnd asks kjw if he still follows hej aruond like that. kjw reflects back to the past... when he was about to kiss hej for hte frist time. but he said: lets wait until i get back from the army, so you'll have something to look forward to.

ljh goes to the supermarket and buys a whole cart of just veggies b/c eug had said that he needed more veggies in passing.

ljh's stepmom goes to visit hej at work, and pretty much tells her that she's not good enough. that she found hej to tell her not to hang out with ljh anymore.
ljh's the youngest and precious in the family.
hej tells the stepmom, that she'll be good. and that ljh needs her.
the stepemom brushes her off.
upset, hej calls ljh first, but hangs up.
and then calls kjw.

as kjw comes out. he'll be leaving in like 2 months, and then goes to the supermarket where he left the baby. the lady said shinbi's mom hd come to pick her up and happily, kjw goes off to a computer place to write in his cyworld.

he writes a love letter to shinbi. how at first he wasnt really excited to hear about her. but that now he loves her so much and that he's so sorry to be leaving to the army after just having gotten to know her.
while he's typing, he gets a instant message from hej, saying that she thought of him alot today and that she's at the sauna they used to go to alot.

eug goes home and wonders where kjw and their baby's at.

his cell phones in the locker, so she merely leaves a message saying that shinbi's milk should be running low and to come home quickly. that she's waiting for them.

at the sauna, kjw overreacts to make hej feel better. not letting her hold anything and telling her she's like a beautiful flower. she says she feels a little bit better, so he gives her a back rub. he says he'll be there for her whenever she needs him. inside, he wants to tell her he's going to the army.

eug is worried. where are they? is the baby ok? the baby's out of food by now...

eug's sister and kjw's frnd takes the baby to a restaurant. the frnd worries kjw will flip out once he knows the kid disappeared. and the frnd tries to convince the sister that kjw isnt that bad of a guy. the sister says she hopes kjw learns his lesson.

eug is still flipping out... and finally goes to ljh for help. they drive around looking for kjw. ljh tries to reasurre her saying that shinbi's dad will take good care of shinbi. but she says its way past time for shinbi to have her meal. at kjw's school, they run into a student who says he doesnt know where kjw is, but saw the baby at the school's supermarket earlier. they run over there, but the lady says she gave the baby to the baby's mom. eug really flips out.

they go to the police and she thinsk that somone kidnapped shinbi. she begs for somone to find her baby.

eug's mom goes home and sees the sister, shinbi, and the frind standing inftont of their house. the sister gets in trouble for playing sucha mean prank on them, and the sister forgot that eug doesnt know. they call her and eug comes running to her baby. the sister says its b/c she wanted to teach kjw a lesson, and the mom flips out too, beating the sister up.

ljh drives eugene home, and looks over at her... with a ... look in his eyes.

they get out after they park, and ljh looks up to see kjw and hej finally coming home in smiles.

pissed off, eug runs over to them. .
eug: HAN SEUNGWON! she yells. you're not even a human being. you bas.tard.!

Episode 7 - credit to *sandee

sejin packs her bags to leave and seungwon gets mad saying that she's overreacting. he thinks shes just jealous and reminds her that on their marriage contract they promised to stay out of each other lives. he also says she shouldnt be talking when she just came from a long drive with dohyun.
sejin tells seunwan that he did a great wrong against shinbi and that they'll never forget tonight.

dohyun gets mad at chaeyong for meeting seungwan. asking her how low she can go. she angrily tells him that she would rather have a peasant that would go get water for her any minute, than a prince that is too high and mighty for her.
dohyun finds out that she met his stepmom.

the scene switches to dohyun bringing cheyon with him to meet his older brothers and the oldest brother's fiance. doyun tells her about their family and how there are seven siblings but three different moms. his brother gets mad and they leave, and he mutters under his breathe with a dirtly glance to chaeyon, "he chose a woman like his mom"
as dohyun and chaeyon leave too, chaeyon gets mad at him, asking him if he saw her as a disposable toy. he tries to explian that he brought her to this because he wanted to show her that he wasnt hte prince she thought he was, but instead a trash, a nobody. out of the blue, he asks her if she wants to go study abroad with him.

at seungwons place, his frnd apologizes to him and explains everything that really happened with the baby and sejin.

sejin has nowhere to go and tries to go home, but over hears her mom worrying about her and cant go in. her mom worries that sejin wont be happy, that she'll want out of a marriage without love.

sejins mom calls and asks for sejin... and tells seungwon to take good care of sejin because she probably freaked out today with the baby and all. seungwon looks over at hte rosary beads on her bible and figure out that sejin prolly went to the chapel.

outside, he cant muster the courage to go inside, and the priest seeing him asks, "you werent about to run away from you guys' problem, are you?"

sejin prays. "theres no one thats truly happy. the doctor that once dreamed of being a singer. the lawyer that dreamed of being an artist. the janitor that dreamed of being an actor. a mother that dreamed of being a translator. a pilot that dreamed of marrying the woman he loved. life doesnt go the way you dreamed it would, but still we have to go on, right? and if so, shouldnt we at least try to be happy? try to love? couldnt we work at it? couldnt we love each other? its too hard without love, taking responsiblity, raising a baby, having patience, its all too hard without love. lets just try to love each other. please."

dohyun gets flashbacks of how she wanted to run away before their marriage, as they walk in to their home together.

once inisde, seungwon tries to apologize to sejin, saying that he really had something important to do, that he didnt met chaeyon until later. she finally turns aorund to see him wearing the spider man body suit and she gets mad at him, asking him when hes going to grow up!! she gets up to leav but cant b/c he says his head's stuck inside the mask. he just tried to make her smile. he tells her he'll work hard at it. to be happy. and that he likes her but that he'll work at loving her.

dohyun tries to get chaeyon to go with him. she knows its because he wants to keep her away from seungwan. and also that hes doing it for sejin.

seunwan gets a job at his dad's work. after much begging. but why?

dohyun offers sejin a drink at home, and sejin asks him why guys all like girls like chaeyon? he says shes pretty, and lean, and tall. she asks him if shes not attractive at all, and he says that its about taking care of yourself.

sejin goes to her sister and asks how she can be sexy. the sister tries to explain that a woman who goes directly to her husband boldly may be turned off, so a woman thats wearing her husband's big clothing and being all innocent would be a bigger chance.

she tries and fails.

sejin tries to win her husband over once more with making loads of food, but he gets angry at the waste of food.

sejin sits and talks with dohyun about how she tried to be sexy like chaeyon but it just didnt work. he tells her that with some poepl, it just takes longer to see whats really attractive in them.

seungwon avoids chaeyons phone calls.

seungwon's sister in law is finally pregnant, and sejin sees how happy their family is about it. and how happy her husband is aobut it. seungwon gets a text message saying she wanted to talk to him one last time.

chaeyon explain shes leaving to study with dohyun.

later, seungwon drinks by the river, asking God why He hates him. why life is so hard for only him. a slightly drunk seungwon goes into sejin's room and apologizes to shinbi. "whyd you come so early? y didnt u come after i had matured a little. after this dad i loved your mom. after this dad could take responsibility. then we wouldnt have had to go through this."

dohyun tells his mom hes leaving with chaeyon.

seungwon gets another reminder that he's to leave soon.

dohyun cant get into the army because his eyesight is just too bad and also being a pilot may be a stretch for him.

seungwon and his friend chat, and he says he couldnt tell his wife because he was ashamed to tell her, afraid she might think he was running awy.

dohyun gives sejin shinbi's 100days bday present, explaining that he and chaeyon are leaving soon to study.

seungwon comes home dead tired and sejin asks him why? but he brushes it off. later, he updates his cyworld and she peeks in. immediately he closes it and goes to bed, and she uses his comp. right then, he gets an im from chaeyong and she thinks that y he seemed startled when she came in. later she looks over at his sleeoing form, and starts to put the blankets on him when she smells something odd. lifting his shirt, she sees the medicine pads on his back and thinks hes been fighting.

on their sunday, he tries to show her how to do all these things around hte house so she'll be able to do them when hes gone but she does a better job of it than he does. they take the day off to spend some time with shinbi.

seungwon's frnd is freaking out because his mom passed out again and is at hte hopsital. she needs surgery immediately. he goes through sejin's bag and find the large sum of money wrapped in newspaper and gives it to him. seungwon thinks his mom gave it to sejin. seungwon reassures his frnd that sejin wont mind.

chaeyong gives seungwon a ride home.
sejin sees seungwan get out of chayon's car after finding out that their money is missing. she slaps him when he comes in because she thinks he used that money to chaeyong a leaving present.
seungwon later explains that he didnt know it was her dad's last bit of money. and says he had something very important to use it on. he starts to say it was for his friend, but she doesnt believe him and instead calls him a liar.

seungwan finally tells her hes leaving for the army and says hes really sorry. she says she doesnt want to talk to him. she says he has alot of excuses to to run away. his responsibilites. chayon. and now the army. she tells him to go ahead and feel free to leave tonight because shes sick of living with him.

the couple go to each other's parents homes and bow.

on the bus ride back home, she gets a call from seungwon's friend explaining what really happened with the money. she cant help but regret how she reacted.
she gets a bouquet of flowers and a card when she gets home. inside is a letter from seungwon.

"i got you and your mom resort tickets to the hotel we met at in singapore. i've been working at my dad's construction company for hte past few months for this and i really hope you like it. happy birthday. and im sorryi cant go with you. and im even more sorry im always having to say sorry to you. ill be ok and be back better."

Episode 8 - credit to kyoungks

the episode starts out with eugene calling shinbi to come to her in the tent, and then "time passes by," and an all grown up shinbi at age 5 pops out of the tent saying she's there, i think. jaewon is getting dressed quickly and shinbi is explaining to the viewers that that is her dad who attends plane school. eugene tells jaewon to put shinbi her school clothes on cause she's busy and he does so. then they go to the kitchen table for breakfast and shinbi says "today is my day to be the mom" and jaewon goes "your right" so he eats something and says it's good. shinbi questions "is it really good" and he does hand motions saying "its really really good." so shinbi calls jaewon by his name to eat alot and jaewon agrees. eugene pops her head from the kitchen and says "han shinbi, are you really going to do this everyday? your going to get in trouble!" and shinbi gets quite. shinbi's voice then talks in the background saying "this is my mother...." and something else, i don't know what. then eugene goes to the kitchen table and asks shinbi why she isn't eating. jaewon keeps on talking to shinbi calling her "mom" then shinbi says to jaewon "dad, stop. it ended" and jaewon is just speechless. jaewon smells somthing and it's bacon burning, then the two argue. shinbi is just sighing.

the two argues who is going to go and drop shinbi at school. eugene says that jaewon has to, unless if he wants to go and earn money. shinbi starts to question eugene and jaewon what some words ment. the only one that i got was when shinbi asked "what is a piolet" and jaewon explains that its someone who flies a plane. jaewon drops shinbi at her school and when her teacher asks her what her dad does, she says "he's a driver (i think)" when jaewon was hoping she said he was a piolet.

during class, i think the teacher asked who was married, i dont know something dealing with family maybe because after the teacher left, all of jaewon's classmates were singing "dad, be strong! shinbi is here for you!" after class, jaewon's classmates were planning something at 7, i dont know what, maybe a date thing. sorry... jaewon's friend gives him a piece of paper that has a time and place for a date meeting and tells him to go. jaewon refuses but eventually takes the offer.

eugene is going for a job interview and hears these two girls talking about some person that was having a hard time after having a kid. she's in the bathroom practicing her introduction. jaewon is preparing for his "date" which he finds out that the person was not a type he thought he was going to encounter. eugene explains during her interview why she wants to join the company. the interviewer seemed pleased until he found out that she was married. she explained that she is married for 3 years and has a child. then the interviewer went to the next applicant. meanwhile, jaewon went to his friends house to yell at him for setting him up with that girl who he met at the "date", who his friend didn't want to meet.

chae yeon looks around a room, i dont know which room that is. ji hoon is in his office, then gets a phone call from chae yeon, wondering when she came. she wanted to stop by where he was, but he said "let's just meet at work tomorrow." chae yeon hangs up, and finds a picture of her and jaewon, and thinks "seung won, a loveless marriage, are you happy?"

shinbi is watching tv and eugene and jaewon are grieving about the money problems they have. then the electricity goes out because the gas bill was a priority. shinbi wanted to watch tv, so eugene and jaewon entertained shinbi with lighters saying that they are playing with fire.

shinbi, jaewon, and eugene heads to jaewon's parents house to ask then for some money. jaewon told shinbi to rehearse what they went through before and shinbi goes "grandpa, i love you , i love you." in the house, eugene prepared jaewon's father's favorite food, and he liked it. everyone found out that they came for some money. shinbi heard something from jaewon's brother and said "#3, we will not touch each other," which was one of the agreements eugene and jaewon made before they got married. then jaewon's father asked shinbi what was #1 and #2, and she told them what they were. everyone got mad and jaewon's father starts yelling at the couple "is marriage a joke? marriage is a promise, do you know what you are doing? sae jin, im disappointed" and said more things that were kind of harsh.

jaewon and eugene walks home, with shinbi, and jaewon said "there is one last resort, why dont you ask your mom?" eugene rejects the idea, but heads there anyways. once she got there, she overhears her mom and her sister arguing about money and how her mom favors eugene more than her. her mom says that eugene never asks for money and is living perfectly fine without her help. eugene comes into the scene saying to her sister, "you should use english in the correct way, it's discussion, not dictionary," when her mom asks what are you doing here, eugene goes "why am i here again?" and didnt ask for money. her mom asks eugene to get a job(?) for her sister at this one restaurant place in a mall, i think.

ji hoon's aunt is surprised about ji hoon's and chae yeon's relationship, because they are just friends when it seemed like engaged couple when they left. they are now just friends and partners in work.

ji hoon's brother talks about something dealing with business, and something. i dont know what this part is about. sorry. something dealing with punishment(?). chae yeon says something afterwards... but i dont know what. at lunch, chae yeon and ji hoon starts talking about ji hoon's mom and how she and chae yeon are alike. chae yeon starts talking about how ji hoon's family is very unmannerful and that she might try to beat then in business. she starts talking about how she's going to succeed (?).

eugene and her sister starts to argue becuase her sister doesnt want to work in the place where her mom suggested. a guy named min comes out and recognizes eugene's sister. eugene's sister and min went out a long time ago. eugene's sister said that she'll work there, the reason is that min works there too.

eugene finds a poster, i think it says hiring people not sure, so she writes down the info in a journal. chae yeon and eugene meets and they realize each other and say hi. eugene accidently drops the journal and chae yeon sees what's written in there (chae yeon works in the same area, i think). they separate in their own ways but before they leave, chae yeon asks "how is seung won?"

jaewon gets a phone call from chae yeon while he's doing the dishes. she asks if he's alright. he says yes. she wants to meet him but he said that they shouldnt. chae yeon says that she wont eat him so they should meet. so they met at a cafe place. she starts off saying "it's been a while" and he agrees. eugene is playing an arcade game when you use a gun and shoot the people at the screen screaming "DIE DIE DIE WHY WONT YOU DIE?!" back to jaewon and chae yeon, chae yeon says "maybe because of the marriage, eugene looks more like an old lady(korean mother, ahjoomah), and you're becoming more like an old man(korean father, ah juh shee). she gives jaewon something, and then jaewon gets a phone call from shinbi's teacher.

eugene and jaewon met up at shinbi's school and the teacher says "it's nothing big, but shinbi...." and there is a scene during class where the teacher asked, "how are you born?" and when it got to shinbi's turn, shinbi's cousin, jaewon's brother's twins, said that shinbi was born because of a mistake... i dont know what they said. then there was another scene during school when she was playing with fire with a magnifying glass. the teacher asked what she was doing, and she said "im playing with fire." and the teacher said it was dangerous, but shinbi said "no it's not, my mom and dad plays with fire every night." eugene and jaewon asked where shinbi was now and the teacher said "at her grandfather's house." at shinbi's grandfather's house, eugene and jaewon went to pick up shinbi, but the grandpa wouldn't let the couple take shinbi back. so they left without shinbi.

jaewon's friend visits ji hoon at his office, then he meets chae yeon and they were all surprised to see each other. the three walk around the mall and jaewon's friend explains how eugene's sister can't live without him. then he sees eugene's sister flirting with min, and he gets angry. he questions her who this man was and she was startled. he questions "who is he, do i look that easy to play with..?" and other questions like that. she explains that that man was her first love. he walks away and she says "if you walk away, it's the end between us!" but he eventually walks away when she was daydreaming that he didnt.

chae yeon gets suspicioius of ji hoon because he suddenly moved back to his apartment, the place right next to where eugene and jaewon lives, when he was staying at the apartment.

eugene and jaewon are grieving of everything while drinking beer. ji hoon and chae yeon walks towards where jihoon lives, and jihoon sees eugene and jaewon drinking with candle lights on, he sighs and walks away to where he lives. eugene and jaewon talks about things they both agree on, i dont know what they are talking about, my korean isn't that good. they wonder why their lives are so bad when everyone is dating and they have a kid and went through marriage.

shinbi is crying in her grandparents room for her mom and dad. her cousins are making fun of her (i find them quite annoying). shinbi and her grandpa goes to the playground and on the swings. i think he tells her a story of how she was born when a bird dropped her off, and saying that she's special, so that when she gets made fun of, she could say that this bird dropped her off.

eugene and jaewon looks through pictures. jaewon says that shinbi has eugene's eyes. eugene says that shinbi has jaewon's nose. then they say that shinbi is really good looking.

eugene takes jaewon to a place where there's a piano. they start to play chopsticks. after they finished, eugene plays cats craddle. chae yeon and ji hoon are having a discussion at ji hoon's place. chae yeon says "im going to try to take him away." ji hoon asks "who?" chae yeon says "seungwon (jaewon)." ji hoon gets mad because she's trying to interferre in a marriage relationship. she said "i told you, if things are taken away from me, i'll get them back. it's better for the both of us. i get sueng won when you get se jin (eugene)." (i think that's what she said). ji hoon says that she's crazy and that he wont just stand there if she tries to do something stupid.

eugene plays a song (i've heard it before but i dont know what it's called) while singing it. jaewon looks at her with this "special" look. after she's done jaewon asks if she and him should start to date, i think.

Episode 9 - credit to *sandee

they both run out with the secuirty guard at their heels. Although she had said that she asked permission to use their piano, she had really just snuck in, and suenwan says she's irrepsonsible. she counters with a small giggle, saying its fun.

after they run alittle and stop.
sw. that was a fun night.
sj. it was a refreshing, right?

they become awkward when they realize their still holding hands.
sw. lets go.
sj. why'd you say something like that all of a sudden?
sw. wat?
sj. ealier.. in the music room... didnt you say something about dating..?
sw. when?
sj. you didnt?
sw. did i?
sejin mutters to herlf, of course and is clearly dissapointed at his lack of pursuit.
seungwan, blaming the cold, grabs her hand and they run home.

when they do get home, they are still holding hands and sejin tells seungwan she needs her hand to find hte key, so he awkwardly lets go.
after they're inside, seungwan asks about shinbi, and sejin reminds him that she's at grandpa's... so their home alone. just the two of them.
she turns to go inside her room when he calls her name, and he has the light under his face, attempting to be frightening, "im scary, huh?"
she nods with a forced smile, "sure.. you're mortifiying."
and they agree to bring shinbi back tomo.

seunwan runs inside his room where he says he almost died from the awkwardness, and he wipes away his nervous sweat.
sejin sits down at her desk and she says she almost died from the awkwardness, and she mutters how he held her hand the whole time. Opening the drawer, she takes out their marriage contract and mulls over the fact that their isnt much time left until their marriage would end.

seunwan's friend comes in drunk, lamenting how his gf cheated on him. dohyun leaves to get some air, and stops infront of sejin's house, recaling chaeyon's words, "if i break up their marrige, it would be good for you too, right? are you dumb? or are you just denying your feelings?"

seunwan enters sejin's room and tells her that he couldnt sleep in a deep voice.
sj. why?
sw. i.. think i like you.
sj. wat??
sw. im sorry it took me this long to say this to you.. sejin.
seunwan approaches closer to her and both their eyes close. his lips are nearly on hers when sejin wakes up from her dream to heard seungwan knocking on her door. as soon as she opened the door for him, he ran in and pinned her to the wall, telling her to stay still as she protested with a small grin.
sw. why isnt this working?
sejin looked up and saw him trying to work the thermometer. she had merely been pushed against the wall in his hurry.
sw. its freezing in my room!
sj. the electricity's out.
sw. do you have a heating pad?
sj. that needs electricity.
sw. oh yeah... wat about a heater??
sj, getting irritated. that needs electricity too.

both are huddled on the couch in a blanket as sejin regrets paying for the gas first. but then they coudln't eat.
seunwan glances over at her and turns away when she looks up. avoiding her eyes, he tells her that she can sleep without worry and that he'll turn the candles off in a minute.
sj. yeah.. you know today... i was a little happy. like that time you took me on the airplane in singapore, i felt warm inside. like that time you told me i was pretty in the moonlight, i was moved. i was happy for the first time, i regretted not singing to you more often.
as she pours out her soul to him, he dozes off and his head soon falls on her shoulder.

the next morning, they find themselves asleep in each other's arms. they both jumped up and sejin asks if he slept well, but seungwan looks away embarrassed and says he'll start breakfast. but there's no rice.
seunwan hurries over to his friend's house when dohyun opens the door and asks him if he knows how to cook soft rice b/c theres a patient in the house.

sejin and dohyun are in the kitchen as sejin stirs the rice as he takes notes. seunwan is eating something int he back with a scowl as he looks on at the two.
the two chitchat when dohyun tells seunwan to stop staring.
sw. im not staring at you, sunbae so dont owrry.
dohyun tells him to speak comfortably with him instead of respectfully and sw agrees.
sejin can feel the tension and continues trying to have a lively conversation with dohyun.
sj. i havent seen you in a long time.
dh. yeah, ive been really busy.
sj. i think youve changd a little during your tiem away.
dh. change? how?
sj. its hard ot say in words, but i guess you've matured and have an affluent air to you.
seungwan in the back is nearly choking as he watches his wife flirt.
dh. is it a compliment? or just kissing butt?
sj. of course its a compliment, but maybe a little kissing but.
they continue to giggle when seunwan cant take it anymore and says he'll do the stirring, trying to seperate the two. seungwan makes fun of her always burning hte pans as an excuse and the two squabble.
dohyun shrugs and so the two go out to have tea and seungwan is stuck insdie trying to overhear them talk.

dohyun and sejin try to speak comfortably too, but sejin finds it too uncomfortable. seugnwan stomps around angrily and sejin laughs embarrassed for him.

seungwan is inside feedin his friend when it gets quiet.

dohyun and sejin talk about shinbi and how she's alot like seungwan. dohyun brings up that she had wanted to run away before her marriage, and she is surprised he even remebers. now he asks her to take his hand and take him away from this boring world.

seungwan runs out and grabs dohyuns extended hand.

when inside, the couple begin to argue. she nags at him for his rude attitude to dohyun all morning long. she thinks its because hes bitter that chaeyon chose dohyun and says that seeing how immature he wsa, of course chaeyon would have chosen dohyun.
he calls her on her flirtiness.
she continues that hes more childish than shinbi and that he's just jealous that dohyun is a successful adult while he is still just a student.
in retaliation, seungwan pulls out the bear castle application, revealing that chaeyon knew she was unemployed and that he had met chaeyon.
they get a phone call from shinbi in the middle of their argument.
shinbi tells sejin that she has a surpise for her and after she hangs up, her parents are left mising their daughter. so they go visit her and she folds her present for them in the shape of an airplane and sends it to them. the letter wrote: family = gajok. [family in korean]. mom. dad. shinib. i love you guys.

the young parents go home and seeing her daughter motivates sejin to apply for bear castle and get her daughter back.so the two practice her interview in the dark. they go over wat she shoudl say, how she shoudl smile, how she should walk.

at the grandpa's house, shinbi can feel the absence of her parents sharply as her uncle's family coos over their twin boys. shinbi says she misses sejin and seungwan and the whole family is shocked at her lack of manners.

to make up for his insensitivity earlier, the uncle sits and explains wat a hwangse and bebse are. the granpda had told shinbi her mother was a hwangse [great bird] and her father was a bebse [tiny bird] in an earlier episode. shinbi asks her uncle to draw a map of where the hwangse and bebse lived.

at home, seungwan overlooks sejin's appearance and tells her she looks like a country girl. both late, they go on the crowded subway where seungwan protects her. as she waits she notices a hole in her stockings, and he brings her five different shades which moves her.

seungwan at school sells his laptop for money.

chaeyon checks the roster at work as to who is applied for an interview today and she sees sejin's name. she calls dohyun and tells him to come out to see the interviews.
as dohyun comes out he sees shinbi infront of her house. shinbi's crying reminds him of sejin crying infront of hte elevator.

seungwan watches his friend trying to write a come back to me text message to his gf which prompts him to open his phone as well. he writes in his tm to sejin, "you were prett..." but erases it. "you know ill always be beside..." but erases it. "you're going to do grea..." but erases it and turns his cell off when the prof comes in.

dohyun sits and tries to convince shinbi that he's not a stranger since she wont give him her grandpa's house number. even after he did convince her, she says she doesnt want to go to her grandpa's and he sighs, having to go to work soon.

chaeyon sees sejin sitting there and tells her she's surprised to see her actually there. she reveals taht if sejin did get in, she would be working under her. her caustic words leave sejin pissed.

seungwan follows his friend around as he shops and he cant help but imagine buying things for sejin.

dohyun enters his office building holding hands with shinbi and everyone who sees them together whisper thinking she's his daughter. they soon go to a restaurant and shinbi soon reveals why she's at her grandpa's house. he leaves her there with her aunt, but shinbi runs away.

when dohyun gets into the interview room, him and sejin recognize each other but dont say anything. shinbi is in the doorway behind sejin. sejin is grilled harshly by dohyun's stepbrother and is put into a difficult situation because of hte fact that she's a mom. he asks her the question, choose between home and work, but she retaliates that, that is not merely a question difficult for a woman, but a man as well. she goes on to say that she doesnt konw how a man who doesnt understand the balance b/w love for your family and the need to work to keep your family is running a business so child oriented. she is clearly dismissed, but her answer makes the mom notice her.

over lunch, seungwan's friend reveals that dohyun's family runs the compny sejin applied to and that dohyun is high up there in that company as well.

sejin and dohyun meet after the interview and he explains why shinbi is here. shinbi says shes going to marry him. dohyun applauds her for her bravery during the interview but she is embarrassed.

seungwan goes to bearcastle looking hesitatnly around for sejin when chaeyon sees him. they have coffe and he asks her why she gave sejin the application, even when it woudl be so awkward for them to see each other. she lies, saying that it was really dohyun who asked her to give it to sejin because he liked her.

seungwan tries calling sejin when he sees her, shinbi, and dohyun playin across the hall. what chayeon said of dohyun liking sejin keeps replayin in his mind.

Episode 10 - credit to trebby

The Han family took Dohyun's car and during the journey home, Seung Won was impolite towards Dohyun and Sejin was embarrassed because Dohyun always look out for Sejin & Shinbi.

At home, Shinbi wants to sleep with her parents and then it shows them sleeping in the yellow tent. Shinbi felt warm and Sejin switched places with her, now Sejin is sleeping in-between Shinbi & Seung Won! This makes Seung Won so nervous that he couldn't sleep! Seung Won started counting sheep but still can't fall ssleep! He then dashed outside the house to do some exercises (i think he's trying to cool off the fire burning inside of him, LOL).

Dohyun came out of his house and spoke to Seung Won, they compete in some exercises and football -- Dohyun was kicking the ball and Seung Won the goalkeeper. I think Seung Won lost out in the game, there was some exchange of conversation but wasn't recorded on the write-up.

In the morning, Seung Won was waking Sejin up -- Sejin said she caught a cold and ask to lie for a while, Seung Won accused her of pretending to be sick so that she don't hv to do housework. Sejin then pick herself up and grumbles... She dropped a plate and says she's so weak to even hold it properly. Sejin bends to pick up the broken pieces but were stopped by Seung Won who cut his finger while trying to pick them up. Sejin was concerned about his cut but Seung Won storms away angrily, saying something to Sejin - again this wasn't recorded.

Seung Won & Sejin also spent time in each other's house separately to know more abt each other, hearing their in-laws talk abt Seung Won & Sejin's growing up years. When Shinbi was asleeped, Sejin got a call from Seung Won and asked how they all. They poke fun at each other after hearing stories from their in-laws. Seung Won said something abt Sejin crying when she misses her father who has passed away and Sejin said 'she's missing (him)', Seung Won assumes she's talking abt her father but then Sejin said it's him (Seung Won) and Seung Won was dumbfounded for a while! Then Seung Won asked to meet Sejin

In the car, Seung Won brought some hot soup for Sejin, for her cold. Sejin said there's her mother's scent in it, Seung Won scolded her saying how could it be (cuz it's made by him!) but denied it when Sejin asked if Seung Won made the soup for her. Then Sejin mentioned about their marriage has only 1 year remaining... Seung Won then walks Sejin back to his father's house holding hands and said things are reversed for them, marriage first then dating... Seung Won said something about unwillingness for couples to part at the end of their date

after Sejin went into the building Seung Won stood there looking...

The next day, Seung Won found out Sejin was shortlisted for the Kids Bear job and rushed home, he was worried because Chae Yong told him that Dohyun likes Sejin, afraid that Sejin would be snatched away by Dohyun! So he quarrelled with Sejin again because of this! However, Seung Won agrees to Sejin working there in the end, but warns her not to speak to her male colleagues or lunch with them. This makes Sejin laugh cuz how could one avoid talking and lunching with your colleagues? But for Seung Won's sake, Sejin agrees. Seung Won wanted to celebrate with Sejin at night but Chae Yong insisted on having a first-day gathering for the new staff so Seung Won wasted his time waiting for Sejin at the restaurant. Seung Won left a message on Sejin's phone that he'll wait until she comes. Then, Chae Yong suggested going to KTV and Sejin's male colleagues made her drink alot. Sejin revealed that she's married after getting drunk, and said she felt very happy and blissful to be with Shinbi & Seung Won now. Dohyun seems disappointed having heard this.

When Dohyun and Sejin was singing, Chae Yong called Seung Won and told him that Sejin is drunk, Seung Won then rushed to the KTV and pulled Sejin out, leaving her handbag behind. Sejin was so drunk and couldn't walk, Seung Won then carried her on his back. On the way home, Sejin talked alot and asked if he has felt his heart touched by someone after they got married. Sejin said she did and she would be happy for the whole day when she sees him once (in the morning i suppose). Sejin is talking abt Seung Won all the while but Seung Won assumed that the person Sejin is talking about is Dohyun. Duh~

After reaching home, Seung Won puts Sejin down on the sofa and Chae Yong called, saying she is outside their house and wants to see him. Seung Won is reluctant to go out and only went out after Chae Yong said she is there to bring back Sejin's handbag. Sejin saw this and quickly jumps back into the sofa when Seung Won went back into the house.

Sejin told Seung Won he has a mail, it is an invitation to a high school class gathering. Sejin ask Seung Won if he is intending to attend, of course Seung Won would attend the gathering. When they were eating, they each start to have silent thoughts in their heart the moment Seung Won look carelessly over at Sejin.

Sejin was visiting Hyongju when she met Chae Yong, seeing Chae Yong & Hyongju behaving intimately, Sejin felt she isn't compatible with them and have a sense of distance. Because of Hyongju, Chae Yong found out that one year remains from the Sejin & Seung Won's marriage contract.

After quarreling with Seung Won, Sejin was very sad and cried in front of Dohyun while talking to him. Seeing this scene, Seung Won walked towards them and took Sejin away, saying in future when they have somebody they care for... (next sentence wasn't translated).

Shinbi was very happy to see Dohyun and went towards him. Seung Won then took Shinbi from Dohyun's arms and said to leave Shinbi out of their 3-party relationship.

In the same office, Chae Yong and Sejin doesn't get along well and often oppose each other's opinions at work.

Dohyun was in full support of Sejin's proposal while Seung Won and Chae Yong met at the high school class gathering.

Seung Won told Chae Yong that he doesn't like her keeping at hurting Seijn, and that he's working hard to forget the past.

Seung Won's mood dipped when he saw Dohyun & Sejin leaving office together. Sejin also knew that Seung Won has met with Chae Yong..

Summary

Sejin tells Dohyun about her worries back home, while Seungwan is watching hidden in the back.

Dohyun offers to take Sejin back home after hearing her worries and grabs her arm, he becomes aware of what he is doing and let's go.

Seeing this, Seungwan calls Sejin on her cell phone to tell her that Shinbi is all okay, healthy and talking now. Sejin is very happy to hear this.

Seungwan also tells Sejin to not worry about anything back home, and just concentrate on her work if she doesn't want to hear negative things as a baby's mom at work. Sejin is thankful towards Seungwan and Seungwan drives back home.

Dohyun and Sejin go out for a drink. As Sejin brings up Chehyun, Dohyun ends up speaking about his love towards an anonymous girl. Sejin doesn't realize that it's her that he's talking about, and when he says that it's a love that can't happen, she kids around asking if it's because the person is a guy, ending the night in a lighter mood.

Seungwan is back home, talking to Shinbi who has already fallen asleep. He is questioning to himself about whether it would be right to let Sejin go if she says that she's going to leave him. (I guess he thinks Sejin really likes Dohyun.)

Sejin returns home, and is greeted by a very cheerful Shinbi.

Sejin is moved by the way Seungwan has cleaned, cooked, and prepared so much things for Sejin while she was away.

As breakfast is prepared, Seungwan goes to see what Sejin is doing, but finds her sound asleep.

Later on in the night, Seungwan goes to Dohyun's house and they have a rather cold talk over some beer.

Seungwan questions Dohyun's motives in giving Sejin an application to his company, since he doesn't know that it was actually Chehyun that did this- but Dohyun goes along with it and says that he had no motive, just helping a friend out.

Seungwan doesn't believe Dohyun and demands for the truth. Dohyun's rebuttal to this is that if he wants the truth, he should first be truthful, and tells him to ask him again, he'll say the truth this time.

Dohyun also points out that when a person falls in love, they become weak, a coward, and a dummy, and adds "It must be true, you're very different from the time with Chehyun."
The guys race each other down the airplane tracks in a challenging run.

Exhausted they lay on the floor, and as Dohyun is about to explain his and Sejin's relationship (that it's really nothing like Seungwan thinks), Seungwan cuts him off saying that he doesnt' want to hear it and walks away, but at this Dohyun is quietly saying "That's not it... You're the person I envy the most in this world."

The next morning, Sejin wakes up to find that Seungwan has already taken Shinbi to school, and as he is about to change into his uniform, he realizes that Sejin hasn't taken it to the dry cleaners so he finds something else to wear, saying that he didn't have to wear the uniform today, and Sejin is cleaning Seungwan's boots but it doesn't match since he's not in uniform, but he wears the boots anyways since she put so much effort into cleaning them awww.

At work, Dohyun discovers the serious rumours going around about him and Sejin.
He hears a lot of comments from different people, including his step-mother.
Sejin is sort of hated on at work, but she has no idea why.

Chehyun gives Sejin a warning about the two guys, more like "pick one or the other," but Sejin just tells Chehyun to not play around with Seungwan.

Chehyun goes out with the other employers to the local restaurant where Sejin's sister works (don't know her name) for lunch.

Sejin's sister finds out from her boyfriend about Chehyun and Seungwan meeting on the day of their "동창" (high schoolmates) meeting, and gets furious about the fact that they are still meeting. A scene is errupted between Sejin's sister and Chehyun.

Seungwan finds out about this from an upsetting phone call from Chehyun, and says something to Sejin about it.

Sejin comments how there seems to be no secrets between Chehyun and Seungwan and is hurt by the fact that Seungwans seems to just worry about Chehyun.

She asks if Seungwan has ever thought about her feelings and how she'd feel, but says "I bet my sort of feelings wouldn't matter since you're heart is full of Chehyun so I wouldn't have any room to fit in. I'm not a robot. When it's hard for me, I also want to complain, be loved, and be respected. When I'm going through hard times, like Chehyun I need someone to run to and cry my heart out."

And runs out, meeting Dohyun on the way with teary eyes, but runs on. Seungwan thinks about what Chehyun has said and is heartbroken by it.

Dohyun also thinks about Chehyun (I supose about the rumors and her hardship with Seungwan) and decides to give Changmyoung (his roommate) 4 tickets to a pension (more like a resort, not like the small boarding houses in Europe ^-^ hoping that the couples will make up.

While, the two couples have a wonderful time at the pension, Chehyun goes to visit Seungwan's sister-in-law (the doctor).

Chehyun intentionally brings up the rumour about Dohyun and Sejin, using the story that Dohyun is her boyfriend and he seems to be having feelings for other girls. Seungwan's mother over hears this while she comes to see her daughter-in-law and is outraged to find out that the girl is Sejin.

She calls everywhere, including Sejin's mother to fuss and yell at her for raising "such a daughter." ( very low)

On the other hand, back at the pension, Sejin and Seungwan sit down and have a heart felt talk.

Sejin wonders "Are all couples that married with love happy? Even couples that marrieed with love, over time hate each other and break up. Am I being selfish to wish that we live happily? You hate me don't you? If only I didn't have Shinbi..."

To this Seungwan confesses that now he can't live without Shinbi, so she shouldn't say such a thing. Sejin is very moved by this, realizing how important Shinbi has become for Seungwan.
Seungwan also admits that wherever, whenever, and whoever Sejin's with, he hopes that she's much happier than she was with him.

Sejin doesn't understand why Seungwan is saying this, as if he's leaving somewhere. (I guess he thinks that he has to start letting go cus the contract is over soon.)

When they return home, they find Seungwan's mother waiting furiously. Seungwan's mother begins to yell at Sejin after sending Shinbi into her room- fussing about how Sejin could do such a thing, seeing another guy, questioning why Sejin is living with Seungwan, or what she's going to do with the guy that likes her.

Sejin has no idea what she's talking about until she mentions that it's her boss. Sejin swears that there's no such thing, but Seungwan's mother asks why there's a rumour flowing when there's no such thing.

Shinbi steps out of her room complaining that she has a bad headache, so Seungwan's mother takes Shinbi with her to get her checked out, telling the couple to never come find Shinbi again as she leaves with Shinbi.

Seungwan and Sejin has a heated discussion.

Sejin is dumbfounded by the fact that Seungwan thinks that there's really something going on between her and Dohyun. He doesn't deny it, and rather questions it bluntly, putting it into harsh forms like, "What are you waiting for? You have a great opportunity," and Sejin turns it around saying that it's probably a great opportunity for him, for him to go to Chehyun.

Seungwan once again come back with the idea that it's a good idea afterall since it was a horrible fate, and Sejin is quite hurt by this, asking how he could say such a thing, if she's really nothing of importance to him.

"To be honest, we're not exactly in some serious relationship, no? (hard to translate from Korean) We coincidently met, spent one night together, and now we're "stuck" with each other, is there anything more?? To put things bluntly, without Shinbi, we have no reason to live with each other. No?!"

Sejin takes this and thinks that he's the one that's told his parents about the rumour with her and Dohyun, giving him an excuse to hook back up with Chehyun. Seungwan says that it's not an excuse, it's the truth. "I only told what was true." (looking like he really did tell his parents)

He hurts her even more by saying that there's only a year left with no extensions, and if she really wants --------- (<--- I didn't hear or understand this part but I know it was something harsh, like maybe "provide child support??") and goes out of the house.

Seungwan feels so bad as soon as he walks out, so he goes to grab a drink while Sejin is at home hurt and crying.

Shinbi on the other hand has a high fever and is rushed to the hospital.
The family tries to call Seungwan and Sejin but they're both not picking up the phones.

Shinbi was sent to hospital for check up and fell asleep while being put on the drip.

Seung Won's mother called his friend's house after failed attempts to get in touch with him and Sejin. Dohyun answer the phone.

Sejin was shocked when she found out Shinbi was admitted to hospital and rush there, Dohyun suggested driving her there in his car but was turned down by Sejin, who made her way there by taxi.

Seung Won's brother told him that Shinbi's condition is very bad and needs to have bone marrow check-up.

After Sejin finished packing the stuff for Shinbi's stay in the hospital, she told Seung Won that they could part ways if he wish to, she'll take care of Shinbi.

Sejin told Seung Won that she can't sacrifice this moment for her to be a good mother after spending a night there with Shinbi, she has decided to resign from her job.

She is happy to know that he likes her and she has felt happiness for a period of time. Seung Won's eyes turned red after hearing Sejin said this.

Seung Won begs his brother to let Shinbi discharge from hospital for a day, the family of three went grocery shopping together and spent happy moments together.

Dohyun told Seung Won, the person who makes Sejin's heart beat faster is actually Seung Won...

Seung Won is sorry for saying "I love you" to Sejin after so long, and told her about Shinbi's condition. Sejin rushed out wanting to ask Seung Won's brother why Shinbi would die and was stopped by Seung Won. Sejin sobs in Seung Won's chest.

The next morning, Sejin forced herself to prepare breakfast with a smiling face, Seung Won also pulled himself together. After sending Shinbi back to hospital, Sejin enquire about Shinbi's future treatment plans from Seung Won's brother. He encourages them to face it bravely.

Shinbi's report is out and Seung Won knows that there is no other way to save Shinbi other than having a bone marrow transplant for her.

Chae Yong came to visit Shinbi and met Dohyun by chance. Chae Yong dig at Dohyun who had earlier said he can't visit Shinbi at the hospital, he's more bad than herself.

Shinbi refuses to have her injection, Seung Won tries to pacify her saying that children who accept treatment bravely is able to see the teddy bear.

Dohyun was in deep thoughts about the intimacy between Seung Won and Sejin. Then he left.

Shinbi told Sejin's sister that she wants to eat eel and because of this, Seung Won and Sejin went to buy for her.

When the two of them were walking down the street full of cherry blossoms, they could feel the fragrance of Spring and have never laugh so heartily for a long time.

Sejin says being able to love Shinbi with her whole heart and Seung Won is there with her all this while, she feels very happy.

Then... Seung Won's face move towards Sejin's slowly...

Sejin & Shinbi comes to an empty bed, the nurse says that he's passed away in early

morning... Shinbi picks up her hairclip from his bed.

SB : where is brother?
SJ : he's gone to be with little chickie.

SJ : We said it before... the people loved by Shinbi will always be in Shinbi's heart.

:: On the way to wonderland, in the car ::

SW : Now you stole the fish from the hospital.

Shinbi who fainted was sent to the emergency room, Seung Won and Sejin were very worried even though Shinbi is out of the dangerous period, Shinbi's condition isn't very good too. Both of them were stunned with what Seung Won's brother said and didn't know what to do. Shinbi was put into isolation room (germ-free). Sejin then seek help from the bone marrow bank, giving Shinbi's picture to them and ask them to help Shinbi. When Shinbi came around, Sejin & family were all in tears of happiness.

On the other hand, Seung Won received a phonecall saying his bone marrow is suitable for a patient, asking if he's willing to donate his bone marrow. Seung Won was troubling over it and decided to donate it in the end. Sejin said she loves Seung Won, who has accepted the transplant operation, and she's very happy to have met him.

Some time passed and Seung Won was at a loss after hearing news of a suitable bone marrow donor for Shinbi...
