Introduction

Welcome to HTML Programming tips! HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language. This site is intended for Webies. It will guide them on creating their own home pages by offering simple tips as well as introducing free softwares to aid them.

A Brief History

I used to be a new comer to the Web and had perused many web sites. Back then, I could only admired at these beautiful web pages and never dreamed of having my personal home page. But, I slowly picked up the skills and accumulated many useful softwares to aid me. However, these experiences were picked up by trial and error and I had nobody to guide me.The learning process was undoubtedly tedious due to time-constriants as well as lack of knowledge about HTML. I wished back then that there is somebody who would teach me.

Slowly, I learned HTML and at the same time discovered easier ways to writing web pages.

Now that I had own home page, I would like to teach Webies how to go about setting up their own. That is the purpose of this page. It will lead you through painless way of setting up web pages without the need to know about HTML programming.

Enough said, let's dive straight into the subject before this document becomes another long-winded how-I-progress-from-an-idiot-to-an-expert historical anecdote. *snigger*


A Good WebPage is Made up of...

Today a good web page is made up of not only HTML coding and graphics, but also juicy and interesting stuffs like ActiveX, Java, JavaScript, CGI, Perl, Shockwave, RealAudio and so on. All these toys made the dull web page jumped into life with sounds, animation and fascinating effects.

However, I will only cover on HTML editors, internet graphics and web contents. This is because, I cannot cover in detail all these aspects of web page creation since this article is intended for painless HTML programming.
