elated arrival chills an old man's bones. You are late," the frail storyteller said as he stirred the fire with a stick. The fire crackled and leaped into life, spewing fore ashes into the air.

The young lad stared at the rekindled fire, lost in thought. He remembered every story that the storyteller told him. He always pondered over his stories all day, trying to learn the lessons from them.

The old man coughed and broke the lad's deep mulling. The boy immediately pulled off his cloak and put it over the old man body.

"Hold the cloak tight, otherwise you might catch a cold.", the lad whispered with concern.

"Are you ready for another story?" the old man questioned.

  • "Master, I would like to ask you a question." said the lad.

"You have potential, young boy. Your inquiring mind will help you a long way.", the storyteller warmed his hands in front of the fire, which had now reduced to a bright amber. He threw in a few woods and reached for his stick by his side. Stirring the fire back into life again, he turned back to the visitor again.

    "What's on your mind?"

"Master, how did you get all these interesting stories?"

The storyteller gave out a small laugh making the boy feel embarrassed at asking such a trivial question. But the storyteller reassured him by replying, "Some of the stories are my personel experiences while others are told by friends and strangers whom I might never get to see."

Gazing at the stars above, the frail man continued, "Just like the constellations high up in heaven, in which no single star owes the whole sky, similarly, no single person can undergo all the different kinds of experiences in life. It's always nice that others are willing to share their experinces with you.".
