Weekend trips

Escape from Singapore and plunge into the warm waters of the South China Sea.

Please note: Due to the northeast monsoon, we stop running weekend trips at the beginning of November and start again in late March. We still offer diving in Singapore during this period.

Stop press: We are now taking bookings for trips in the early part of the 2004 season. See the Schedule page for details!

Map of Malaysia Map of islands

Pulau Aur
Aur and Dayang are two islands in close proximity to each other and offer a wide diversity of dive sites, ranging from deep trenches to shallow reefs. Most noted for pelagic sightings, Aur and Dayang have been the sites of many encounters with whale sharks and manta rays. Marsden Bros divers regularly see schools of barracuda, stingrays, large bumphead parrotfish and moray eels. In between dives, you can chill out on the sandy beach and read a good book. We stay at Atlantis Bay dive resort on Pulau Aur.

Pulau Tioman
About 30 nautical miles west of Malaysia's east coast, Tioman is the largest of a group of 64 volcanic islands. Around 36km long and 19km wide, it is a popular holiday spot with good reefs for snorkelers and divers. Dive sites include piles of boulders, steep-sided islands and shallow bays with gardens of hard coral.

Kuantan wreck
The Kuantan wreck is about 20 nautical miles off the coast of Malaysia and sits in relatively shallow water, with the bottom at 24m and the top at about 14m. It is covered in colourful soft corals and sea fans and attracts crowds of schooling fishes, many small morays, leopard sharks, large groupers, rays and pelagics. We also dive sites around Tioman on the return journey.

Dates and prices are on the Schedule page.

In accordance with the Singapore Tourism Board's directives, we organise all our trips through Jetspeed Travel Pte Ltd (STPB No 264).
