Diving in Singapore

Come diving at Singapore's Southern Islands on a Saturday or Sunday, with night dives once a month on a Tuesday!

Don't be put off by what you may hear from some divers! Diving in Singapore can be great fun and make you a much better diver! Although the visibility is not often that good (typically 1-2m, occasionally 5m), the water is warm and our marine biologists confirm that Singapore has a great deal of interesting marine life and an incredible variety of coral. Divers enjoy regular sightings of seahorses, small sharks and turtles. Why not give it a try?

We usually dive at Pulau Hantu, which provides comfortable conditions for beginners. Other dive sites visited include Pulau Salu, Pulau Jong, Pempang wrecks, Raffles Lighthouse and Pulau Biola. PADI Advanced Open Water, Rescue and Divemaster courses are also conducted on Saturdays and Sundays.

Our fast catamaran Typhoon departs from Republic of Singapore Yacht Club (RSYC), West Coast Ferry Rd (map), every Saturday and Sunday, normally at 9:00am. Drinks and a snack should be brought along. Bookings are required and as Singapore marine regulations allow a maximum of 12 people on a pleasure boat, bookings should be made as early as possible in the week.

Cost is S$65 for a two-tank dive trip, including weights and weight belt. Prices for other diving equipment can be found on the Rental gear page.

In accordance with the Singapore Tourism Board's directives, we organise all our trips through Jetspeed Travel Pte Ltd (STPB No 264).
