THREAD SEAL TAPE
KLINGERFLON thread seal tape available in a variety
of grades offers clean, quick and effective sealing of
threaded pipe fittings.

SPRAY PACKS
Klingerflon spray for applications where good anti friction
and release properties are required.

There are three common types and in each case the PTFE is normally
smooth finish and 0.5mm thick:-

1)Split (or fin) type

The most economic design but only suitable for non critical duties
and for insert thicknesses not exceeding 1.5mm.

2)Milled (or machined square edge type)

More costly to produce but can be made flush with pipe bore to minimise
turbulence etc. More reliable for critical duties and suitable for thicker
(up to 7mm) inserts.

3)Folded tape type

Employed for diameters larger than 300mm where milling is not 300mm
where milling is not possible.
