Therefore, there is easier removal of gaskets,reduction of flange corrosion
better sealing with repalcement gasket and no grease,graphite or anti-stick
compounds needed. Compressed asbestos jointing has high heat resitivity
and is used against water,gases,alkalis & other chemicals while non asbestos
jointing has medium heat resitivity and used for sealing of gases,
oils,lubricants and fuels.
