WORKING EXPERIENCE

Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports

(Nov 04 to Jan 05)

A temporary position answering telephone queries on the Baby Bonus telephone hotline, handling irate callers and unexpected questions, keeping the permanent staff free to handle more important matters.

Madeira Asia Pte Ltd / PT Madeira Indonesia (Feb 03 to Oct 04)

Started as Logistics Executive at Madeira Asia in Feb 03 before being posted to PT Madeira Indonesia in Batam in Jun 2003.

 

Tasks Included:

·           Monitoring and maintaining stock at the optimal level (for over 3000 SKUs)

·           Managing the problems caused by having different lots that could not be mixed

·           Issuing of POs and liaising with overseas suppliers to ensure timely delivery

·           Providing Customer Service with information on stock status and lead-times

·           Overseeing Warehouse Operations to ensure proper receiving and issuing of material and the accuracy of ERP system

·           Generating Stock Reports and Sales Reports as needed.

National Service (Jun 2000 to Dec 2002)

After my basic and leadership training in the Army, I was assigned to the Operations Branch in an active battalion.

I was given the task of monitoring the IPPT and marksmanship results of the entire battalion (over 700 individuals) and ensuring that there were no lapses in accounting for individual results.

In addition, I was assigned other ad-hoc tasks and projects.
