RIP Michael Jackson & Farrah Fawcett

The world lost two iconic figures today, Farrah Fawcett lost her long battle with cancer and passed away Thursday morning and Michael Jackson died of a cardiac arrest in the afternoon. My prayers and condolence to their fans, friends and families. To most people, 'Thriller', 'Beat It', 'Billie Jean', 'Bad' are their all time favourites but mine will always be 'Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough', I used to listen to it over and over and over again coz' I just couldn't get it out of my head. It's one of the songs that brings good memories of my teenage years. Rest in peace Michael.
Kites to be released in December

Kites is now scheduled to be released in December. Hrithik will do the voiceover in the movie in both Hindi and English for the respective versions.

'Jodhaa Akbar' swept the 10th International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards, taking home trophies for best picture, best director and best actor for Hrithik. Oscar winner, AR Rahman won the best music director award for Jodhaa Akbar and Javed Akhtar walked away with best lyricist trophy for his score 'Jashn-e-Bahara' while, Javed Ali bagged best playback singer (male) award for the same movie. The two happily shared details of their courtship. “We were seeing each other for six years and then decided to tie the knot,” went Hrithik first. “Ours was a cross-cultural wedding and I vividly remember how hectic it turned out to be for our folks to do all the running around for the various functions. Of course, Sussanne as the bride and I as the groom were really happy to graduate from friends to a married couple on our special day.” Glowing with the memory of that day ten years ago, Sussanne added, “Hrithik and I were, and remain, really good friends. And when one gets married to a friend, life is a party indeed.” The couple emphasised that marriages are decided in heaven but can be made enjoyable on earth.

Hrithik and Sussanne will walk the ramp together for sister-in-law Farah Ali Khan at the IIFA Fashion Extravanganza in Macau during the IIFA weekend being held from June 11 to 13. Hrithik and Jodhaa Akbar have been nominated for IIFA Awards for Best Actor and Best Picture respectively.
