| The V-ring, which is an all rubber product, can be stretched over fittings, flanges or other obstacles and mounted directly on the shaft so that disassembly is not required. Available in both Nitrile(NBR) and Viton(some sizes only) materials, it can accommodate a great deal of both shaft eccentricity and misalignment. Because of centrifugal forces, the friction of the seal against the axial face decreases with increases of shaft speed. Because of their elasticity, each size of the VA and VS designs can be used for a variety of shaft sizes. |
