The Guang zhou bai yun airport has been relocated to 'hua du' district 30 km north of Guangzhou city. The new airport become operational late 2004. The airport is originally named after a hill in guang zhou named baiyun (white cloud) hill.

"Bai yun" literally translates to white cloud. This hill is probably about 300-500m high, very much a hill rather a mountain.On top of this hill you can find a nice (perhaps elaborate) stele garden.
