The I-Ching - ( A Chinese classic of wisdom )

I-Ching is first and foremost a book of soothsaying. It is also a repository of ancient Chinese wisdom, constituting a vast networks spanning over many centuries and drawing on the collectively works of Chinese foremost sages and philosophers.

The word 'I' should read as 'Yi', explained in the great text of   I-Ching as perceptually changing, and the words 'Ching' actually mean 'Canon', 'Scripture' or 'Classic'. A far cry from its commonly translation as "Book of Changes". And I-Ching enjoy the status of being the highest ranking amongst the Chinese six classics of China. It is the most important Chinese classic.

The development of I-Ching marks the beginning of Chinese civilisation, Culture, Philosophy, Medicine, Science, Literature, Martial Arts, including Chinese Fengshui, astrology etc. Hence all these owned their root and origin to be inspired by the modes of thought from the I-Ching.

When I-Ching Geomancy Centre was first registered in Singapore in 1992. Many of our customers and clients find the name "I-Ching" very weird. What is I-Ching? was a commonly asked question. Today, when they start visiting other fengshui site in the internet, they discovered the important between  I-Ching and fengshui.
