  13. 1969 was a magical year for me. With all the rockets taking off and reaching the moon, as a wide-eyed nine-year-old, it was stuff that fired the imagination. I wanted to go to the moon (I still do :-)). Then on July 19th 1969, by the magic of TV (black and white of course), it was mesmerising to see two men on the moon. It looked so unreal, yet it was all real. I have since longed to be able to be part of the organization that made all this possible. So here's to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.

  86. This is the only intelligent show on the Thrash Content Station TCS. TV12's programming is far superior to what the lobotomized programming dimwits at TCS are capable of. TCS and The New Paper epitomize the lowest possible standards of quality and sensibility media anywhere can get to (yes, even counting National Enquirer). I am looking forward to the day when TV12 will do English newscasts and so I can ignore TCS. Anyway, please do go ahead and check out the The Official X Files home page.

  101. Hurray to the People of Singapore. The Singapore government has finally wisen up to the Net and, to the benefit of all Singaporeans, the honchos have realized that they do not have the monopoly of ideas. This site has the potential to be a little big brotherish. So enjoy it with a grain of salt.
  102. Random Thoughts

    The General Elections That Was

    Hurray and Power to the People. Congrats to EFF and the pursuit of free speech!

    Before you go, do remember what Ralph Waldo Emerson said:

    To laugh often and much;
    To win the respect of intelligent people
    and the affection of children;
    To earn the appreciation of honest critics
    and to endure the betrayal of false friends;
    To appreciate beauty;
    To find the best in others;
    To leave the world a bit better
    whether a healthy child, a garden patch
    or a redeemed social condition;
    To know even one life breathed easier
    because you have lived;
    This is to have succeeded.

    Enjoy.

I have asked them a zillion times to remove this stupidity, but alas, morons are just that! So, screw them - use the following link and go for it!
