Yu he yuan (also known as the Summer Palace) is located to the north west corner of Beijing city. In this scenic garden is a huge man-made lake, hill and an island. It is known to be the largest imperial garden in the world. Among the features is a long corridor with elaborate beautiful paintings on each of the wooden beams along the run of the corridor.
